Hellou svima šta ima ?

Prije same kolumne voljela bih vam samo reći kako mi se jako sviđa rad na ovoj stranici. Kad sam tek počela pisati osječala sam se čudno, imala sam nekakve čudne kriterije kako se trebam ponašati što trebam raditi i što trebam pisati , no sada sam shvatila kako sve što radim je prvenstveno za ljubitelje mode i prijatelje i obitelj.Jako se veselim budučnosti i imam puuno planova za budučnost, hvala što ovo čitate.

Hello everyone, our team had decited to write in English so that people all around the world could read our columns. My name is Chiara and I mostly write about fashion history because I find it interesting how, clothes can change dramatically in a such a short period of time...I started in writing 1920s in Croatian and I will probably translate it in some time. Okej pa evo nas i do sedamdesetih. Zanimljivo je da je dosta trendova iz sedamdesetih popularno i danas, a danas to sve vidimo kao retro trend i prihvačamo trendove kao normalan način odijevanja (ali o tome ću kasnije).

Okay so here we are,70s. It is interesting how a lot of 70s trends are still popular today and today we accept it as vintage or retro style and as a normal way of dressing yourself up (more later on).

Početak sedamdesetih- Bohemian stil

The begining of 70s - Bohemian style

Bohemian stil (Boho) je bio u usponu sedamdesetih godina. Riječ je o produžetku Hippie kulture kasnih šezdesestih godina. Neki kažu da je stil potijekao od Roma koji su putovajući centralnom Europom proširili svoj stil. Riječ je o vrlo opuštenom stilu u kojem su prisutne zemljane boje. Karakteristike stila su opuštenost,razigranost. Bilo je važno biti svoj, biti umjetnička duša. Danas je taj stil itekako poznat i možete naći boho komade u dučanima. Janis Joplin je jedna od najpoznatijih osoba ovog stila. Iako je umrla 1970. mislim da ju moram ovdje spomenuti. Janis Joplin je bila američka pjevačica, poznata po svojem hrapavom glasu. Umrla je vrlo mlada, sa samo 27 godina zbog predoziranja heroinom.

Bohemian style (Boho) was rising in 70s. It is extended fashion of hippie culture which were in 60s. Some people say that Bohemian style was originally Gypsys as they were travelling in centeral Europe, and in that way they expended their style. That style could be described as really laid back style in which are earthy colors present. The characteristics of that style are relaxation and playfulness. It was important to be yourself, to be an artistic soul. Today that style (also known today as boho or boho chic) can be easilly found in local stores. Janis Joplin is one of the most famous preson who wore this style. Although she died in 1970. I think that I should mention her here. Janis Joplin was an American singer, famous for her hoarse, rusty voice. She died very young at the age of 27 due to heroin overdose.

Glam rock

Glam rock moda se pojavila sredinom 70ih i osobnosti mode su sjajni kombinezoni, šljokčaste hlače, futuristička šminka i šalovi od perija. Mislim da jedan od najpoznatijih osoba koji se oblačio ovako je David Bowie. David Bowie je bio britanski glazbenik poznat po njegovom zanimljivom stilu, luda odjeća, šminka za muškarce i lude ofarbane kose i frizure, zašto ne? Mislim da je David radio ono što ljudi do prije se nisu usudili raditi zbog pritiska javnosti.

Glam rock fashion started in middle 70s and characteristics of this fashion are glitter jumpsuits, glitter pants, futuristic makeup and feather scarves. I think that one of the most famous person who dressed in this style is British artist David Bowie. He was famous for his interesting style, crazy outfits, makeup for men and crazy colored hair, why not ? In my opinion David did something that people before didn`t do because they were scared of peoples reaction and judgedment.

Disco

Disco glazba i općenito disco kultura je dosta bila popularna 70ih. Žene su u discu plesale ili u kratkim haljinama (wrap dress) ili dugim teškim haljinama, a šminka je bila teška kako bi se osoba sjajila pod disco kuglom, prava dancing queen hehehe... Također ne smijemo zaboraviti koturanje!

Disco music and disco culture in general was popular during 70s. Women would dance either in short wrap dresses or long ball gowns and on top of that they would have platforms which were plastic. Makeup was pretty heavy so person would shine under disco ball. Real dancing queen heheh... Also we shouldn`t forget roller skating!

Trends

Popularni trendovi 70ih su bile hlače koje ja osobno obožavam, a to su trapez hlače ili trapezice. 70ih su i žene i muškarci nosili hlače i traper nije bio materijal samo za radnike već je ušao u svakodnevnu uporabu. Na nogama su se nosile platformke koje su još porijeklom iz šezdesetih (vidi 60e Andres Courreges ) sada su bile sve šarenije i svjetlucave. Još neki popularni trendovi su bili kombinezoni, band majice, pončoi.... Popularni materijali 70ih su bili krep (tkanina od svile ili vune sa vrlo zgužvanim izgledom), vuna, courtelle i tkanina od poliestera poput Trevira. Boje koje su bile popularne ranih 70ih su različite nijanse zelene kao smaragd zelena, svijetlo zelena i boja stakla.

Popular trends in 70s were these pants which I personally love, bell bottoms. In the 70s man and woman were wearing pants and denim wasn`t fabric for workers as before, it was worn in everyday life and became a fashion trend. Platform shoes were worn as well as in 60 (their begining) Other trends include jumpsuits, band t-shirts, knit ponchos....

Popular fabrics were crepe, wool, Courtelle jersey and woven Polyester suiting such as Trevira. Emerald green, light green and bottle green were popular colors during early 70s.

Mislim da dosta trendova iz 70ih nas prati i danas prošle godine su trapezice ponovo došle u modu što mi je iskreno drago jer ih jako volim, kada sam vidjela neke kombinezone sjetila sam se Guccijevog zelenog kombinezona kojeg je Lana Del Rey nosila u Gucci guilty kampanji. Wrap dress ili haljina na preklop. Dosta ih vidim ovih dana po dučanima, saten opčenito i marame...

I think that a lot of 70s trends are trends even today, for an example last year bell bottoms or flare jeans were again trendy which I`m glad because I love them. When I saw some jumpsuits from 70s, they reminded me of Gucci`s jumpsuit which Lana Del Rey wore during Gucci guilty campaign. Wrap dress as well, I see a lot of them in malls , satin in general and head scarves..
