Hello everyone!! Today we will continue with last weeks topic. We have decided to start writing our columns in english. Honestly, for me, it is so much easier to write in english and I really don't know why hahah

Okay let's talk about Red Velvet. I hope that this column won't be too long or boring to all of you reading this. I just really love Red Velvet and their music and it is really fun to me to write about them. Also, I would like to link one of my favourite songs from each album along with the mv, for those who want to get more into Red Velvet :)

Let's start:

Last week we ended the column with their summer album : ''The Red Summer'' and today we continue with their most well-known and most loved 2nd full-length album:

Perfect Velvet

Release date: November 17, 2017

And the title track from this album: ''Peek-a-Boo'' !

Oh my god, I love this era so much! The outfits are absolutely stunning! And I love this era so much as well! This album is honestly in my top 3 faves from them. And I love the whole killing pizza delivery men story. I like this dark or ''velvet'' side of them when they do this kind of stuff.

This album had a repackage as well (if you don't know what a repackage is, they basically add 3 or 4 new songs including a new title track with the last album they released) :

Bad Boy

Release date: January 29, 2018

I actually made a column on this one. I dressed up as girls in the mv and as a cover of the album. It was really fun to make it so you can go see it if you want to :D

Okay Bad Boy was such a great song! I lovelovelove it sososo much! The sounds of high heels walking and their voices, just the vibe and the visuals of this whole song are amazing to me. I think that I don't have to talk about the fashion in this one, absolutely amazing! I would wear that as well not gonna lie. Especially the pink outfits in the photoshoot.

The next era was a ''red'' concept one and a summer mini album! :D :

Summer Magic

Release date: August 6, 2018

Fun fact, this is where i started listening to Red Velvet(yeah I'm late :0 )

Like I said (at least I think I said it in the last column haha) I love summer album so much!

There is just something so positive and so nice about them so I really like listening to those!

''Power Up'' was a title track and it has a catchy line in it that just can't get out of your head ''ba-banana'' :D

The aesthetics of this mv are so nice, the girls again have their fruits (watermelon, pineapple, blue orange, kiwi, and grape)

I really like those blue and yellow outfits that they were wearing, I think that they are adorable, I would also wear them :)

All of the songs were so nice this era, also one of my favourite albums from them.

MV:

Track list:

  1. Power Up

  2. With You

Then we got again one of my absolute fave albums from them:

RBB (Really Bad Boy)

Release date: November 30, 2018

To be honest with you, I didn't like this album or the title track at first, but as the time went by I started to love it, and I can actually say that it is first on my top 3 albums of theirs.

Again, the aesthetics, amazing, the outfits, amazing, the whole ''halowheen'' and ''horror'' theme is so nice. I made a column on dressing up as this album as well so you can go see it if you still haven't :)

MV:

Track list:

  1. RBB

  2. Butterflies

After RBB, we got their second japanese mini album:

SAPPY

Release date: May 29, 2019

Again, if I'm honest, I didn't like sappy that much when it was released, but now I love it hahah

Umm, I actually don't have anything to say anymore for this one oops, I love the outfits again, I think that they were really my style this time.

MV:

Track list:

  1. Sappy

  2. Swimming Pool

  3. Sayonara

  4. Peek-a-Boo (Japanese Ver.)

  5. Rookie (Japanese Ver.)

  6. Power Up (Japanese Ver.)

My favourite track from the album:

After sappy the best part for red velvet started, the 3-part album which creates a one full album ''The ReVe Festival'' started with a mini album:

The ReVe Festival Day 1

Release date: June 19, 2019

Okay, wow ''Zimzalabim'' as the title track, I don't think anyone liked it at first, some people still don't like it, I love it (I wouldn't listen to their music if I didn't like anything, right?), any ways, the aesthetics and visuals were I guess, weird, put Red Velvet can really pull of any type of concept. I don't have anything to say anymore about this one, I love the carnival concept and the background sounds of the song were really nice.

MV:

Track list:

  1. Zimzalabim

  2. Sunny Side Up!

  3. Milkshake

  4. Bing Bing

  5. Parade

  6. LP

My favourite track from the album:

The second part of the ''The ReVe Festival'' series was my second favourite album out of all:

The ReVe Festival Day 2

Release date: August 20, 2019

Okay, loved this one. Another great summer album. The title track ''Umpah Umpah'' was a ''red'' concept on the outside, but on the inside it is a big ''velvet'' one let me tell you. They sing about drowning someone in water :o

The aesthetics in this album and mv were so great, I love the whole going on vacation thing, then the rain started and they can't go out and have fun, so they have fun inside their house (kind of us in quarantine hahahah)

I also love every single song on this one so it is hard to choose only one favourite.

MV:

Track list:

  1. Umpah Umpah

  2. Carpool

  3. Love Is The Way

  4. Jumpin’

  5. Ladies Night

  6. Eyes Locked, Hands Locked

My favourite track from the album:

And that brings us to the last part of ''The ReVe Festival'' series:

The ReVe Festival Finale

Release date: December 23, 2019

And its title track: ''Psycho'' - probably everyones fave title track after ''Peek-a-Boo'', ''Bad Boy'' and ''Red Flavor'' :)

Wow, I love ''Psycho'' so much! The outfits are soooo pretty and the lyrics of the song are so beautiful as well. I really don't have anything to say except that they really ended this album with a great ending, couldn't ask for a better comeback! I also have a column of this one :D

MV:

Track list:

  1. Psycho

  2. In & Out

  3. Remember Forever

  4. Eyes Locked, Hands Locked

  5. Ladies Night

  6. Jumpin’

  7. Love Is The Way

  8. Carpool

  9. Umpah Umpah

  10. LP

  11. Parade

  12. Bing Bing

  13. Milkshake

  14. Sunny Side Up!

  15. Zimzalabim

  16. La Rouge (bonus track)

My favourite track from the album:

That was all for today! Next week I will dress up as more albums so look forward to it! :)
